MEET THE ARTISTS
ANGUS HAMPEL
Angus is an award-winning painter and printmaker, who, for over 20 years, has exhibited across Europe and the US. Originally from the UK, he lives and works in an old Tuscan farmhouse with his wife, five children and numerous other animals. Much of his work features gold leaf. He writes: ‘Gold has always fascinated. It crosses the bridge between the secular and the spiritual, conjuring images of money and Midas, but also Greek orthodox icons and Buddhas.’
Amy Florence
Amy is a London-born artist working in Italy. She trained at the Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence, where she eventually taught the advanced painting program for five years. While she still teaches privately, her time is now spent more in capturing the natural world at her home in the Tuscan hills. She specialises in still-life and landscape painting.
Amy is represented by the Grenning Gallery in Sag Harbor New York.
